What is grout haze?
Grout haze is a thin, cloudy residue of dried grout particles and cement dust that settles on tile surfaces during and after the grouting process.
After grout is applied to tile joints, fine particles and cement dust settle onto the tile face, creating a dull, chalky film. This haze forms as excess grout dries and hardens. The residue clings to glazed, natural stone, and porcelain surfaces, leaving them looking dull and obscuring the tile's true color and finish.
